The Dalkey GAA Club, Cuala, will defend their 2017 title in the All-Ireland Club Senior Hurling Final on St Patrick’s Day,17th March. The throw-in is at 2.00 pm in Croke Park. Cuala play Na Piarsaigh of Limerick who were 2016 champions.
Hurling is an outdoor team game of ancient Gaelic origin and is the fastest field sport in the world. The game has been played for 3,000 years. It is administered by the Gaelic Athletic Association, whose headquarters are at www.crokepark.ie
The GAA is at the heart of every community in Ireland and there are no other sports in the world more intertwined with a country’s identity, history and culture. Cuala have made history.
